Gas Pod: a recessed stainless steel gas pod is standard on all Trivan cutoff vans.

Generators: standard fixed models are Honda’s EV4010 and EV6010 RV generators. Both models offer very low noise and vibration levels, twin cylinder liquid cooled engine, and electronic ignition. Additional features include Low Engine Oil Alert and Overheat Alert systems as well as an automatic voltage regulator. Instrumentation includes auto throttle, auto choke, fuel pump, electric start and remote control. Other generators on slide-out trays are available as special-order options.

Glassboard: a durable, flexible building interior wall finish of fiberglass-reinforced plastic. The panel is ULC listed for flame spread and smoke development. It will not mildew, rot, or corrode and exhibits excellent resistance to mild chemicals and moisture. Glassboard is ideal for jointless interior surfaces and is particularly recommended for reefer applications as it meets food transport standards. Glassboard is often used in combination with an aluminum checkerplate floor if transporting food.

Gusset: a triangular shaped corner support that strengthens the joint between two right-angled pieces of material. Gussets are employed in the rear profile to strengthen the join between the header and the uprights.

Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW): the highest operating weight a vehicle is allowed to have. This is an especially important consideration for freight haulers and must be taken into account when designing a truck body. If the weight of the truck body uses up half the available GVW, the amount of freight that can be transported may be significantly reduced. Please contact a sales representative for specific information on vehicle GVW’s and Trivan body weight.
